Terms of Service & End User License Agreement (EULA)

• "User," "you," and "your" refer to the individual or entity using our Services
• "Linglo," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Linglo and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents
• "Content" refers to any text, images, audio, video, messages, or other materials shared through our Services
• "Language Partner" refers to another user with whom you connect for language learning purposes
• "Objectionable Content" includes but is not limited to content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate
• "Abusive Behavior" includes but is not limited to harassment, bullying, stalking, impersonation, or any conduct that creates a hostile environment for other users

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Linglo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our Services for your personal, non-commercial language learning purposes.

License Restrictions: You may not:

• Use the Services for any commercial purpose without our express written consent
• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our Services
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
• Use our Services to transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts

To use our Services, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
• Register for an account with accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account
• Not share your account credentials with any third party
• Not create multiple accounts for the purpose of circumventing restrictions
• Not transfer your account to another person

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that are inactive for an extended period or that violate these Terms.

You agree to use our Services responsibly and in accordance with these Terms. You are solely responsible for:

• All content you create, upload, or share through our Services
• Maintaining appropriate and respectful communication with other users
• Respecting the privacy and boundaries of other users
• Not using our Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Not interfering with or disrupting the Services or servers
• Not attempting to access other users' private information
• Not using automated systems or bots to access the Services
• Reporting any violations of these Terms that you observe

All content shared through our Services must comply with our community standards:

• Be relevant to language learning and cultural exchange
• Be respectful and appropriate for all ages
• Not contain personal information of others without consent
• Not promote commercial products or services without permission
• Not contain copyrighted material without proper authorization
• Be accurate and not misleading
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any content that violates these guidelines or our Terms.

Our Rights: Our Services and their contents, features, and functionality are owned by Linglo and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Rights: You retain ownership of content you create and share, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content in connection with our Services.

Prohibited Actions: You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of our Services
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
• Use our trademarks or branding without permission
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others

By You: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in our Services.

By Us: We may terminate or suspend your access to our Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms or our policies
• Engagement in objectionable content or abusive behavior
• Fraudulent or illegal activities
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Technical or security issues

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately, and we may delete your account and all associated data.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Linglo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Services.

Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any claims related to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.

Disclaimer: Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from harmful components.

Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Linglo is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law. You and Linglo agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.
