Build with Linglo

Build with Linglo

We're building the future of cross-cultural communication. If you can create value, there's a place for you.

Why build here, not there

  • Early, on purpose

Linglo has real, paying users today — small enough that one good idea can visibly move the numbers.

  • You keep the receipts

What you ship is public: a real product, real users, a portfolio that isn't a PDF.

  • Paid, not volunteered

Missions come with budget or revenue share. This isn't for exposure.

  • No queue to prove yourself in

Propose something real, we review it fast, you start building — not a hiring pipeline.

Opportunities

Nine ways in. Pick the one that fits what you're good at.

Open missions

Real problems we haven't solved yet. Instead of a job description, here's what's actually broken.

  • Improve first-week retention

    Open

Most new members try Linglo once and don't come back in their first week. The first conversation is the make-or-break moment, and we haven't cracked how to make more of them happen.

    Expected KPI
Move Day-7 retention meaningfully above current baseline
    Reward
    Negotiated per proposal
    Timeline
Propose your own — we care about the result, not a fixed sprint
    Owner
    Linglo core team
    Difficulty
    High
  • Grow organic discovery

    Open

Most people find Linglo through app stores, not search. The marketing site barely ranks for anything outside our own brand name.

    Expected KPI
Grow non-brand organic search traffic to linglo.app
    Reward
    Negotiated per proposal
    Timeline
    Propose your own
    Owner
    Linglo core team
    Difficulty
    Medium
  • Seed a language community

    Open

Some languages have plenty of learners but too few native speakers to match with, or the reverse. This needs real community-building in a specific language, not another growth hack.

    Expected KPI
Grow active, mutually-matched conversations in one language pair
    Reward
    Negotiated per proposal
    Timeline
    Propose your own
    Owner
    Linglo core team
    Difficulty
    Medium

Builder wall

Empty for now — on purpose. Every mission that ships gets a name attached to it, starting with whoever picks the first one.

Questions

Do I need experience?

No fixed years-of-experience bar. We care about what you can actually ship, not what your resume says.

Do I need a portfolio?

No. A clear proposal is enough to start the conversation — what you build here becomes the portfolio.

Can students get involved?

Yes. Some missions, especially community and university ones, are a great fit for students.

Can companies get involved?

Yes — partnerships and integrations are welcome.

Can I propose my own idea?

Yes, that's the point. Use the pitch template above — it doesn't need to match an open mission.

How do payments work?

Depends on the mission: freelance payment, revenue share, or a longer-term partnership. Terms are agreed before you start, not after.

Open to working together.

Paid work, revenue share, or a longer-term partnership — whatever fits the opportunity. If there's a way to build something together, we want to hear it.
