Dreaming in your target language means you have unlocked a new level.
I think dreaming in the language you are learning is a really exciting sign of progress. It can mean that the language is becoming more natural to your brain. Instead of translating every word from your native language, your brain starts using the new language automatically, even while you sleep. For example, when I first start learning a language, I usually think in my native language and then translate my thoughts. But after spending a lot of time listening, speaking, reading, and practicing the target language, I may suddenly find myself thinking—and sometimes dreaming—in that language. I believe this shows that the language is becoming part of my everyday life. It doesn’t necessarily mean that I am fluent, but it can be a sign that my brain is becoming more comfortable with the language. For me, dreaming in my target language would feel like reaching a new level because it shows that I’m not just studying the language anymore—I’m actually starting to live with it.
