Money can buy happiness.

Not having to worry about rent or a medical bill removes so much daily stress that it directly makes you happier. That part is just true for most people.

Money buys comfort, not happiness. I've had both very little and a fair amount, and the version of me that was happiest wasn't about the number in my account.
